Following its successful roll-out in Singapore and Bangkok, the popular chicken and beer chain will launch its first Philippines outlet in Arcovia City, Pasig, this October
Daily Beer, one of South Korea’s leading fried chicken-and-beer ‘chimaek’ chains, will open its inaugural Philippine outlet in Arcovia City, Metro Manila, this October.
Kirkland Whang, chairman of Daily Beer Philippines, stated that the outlet will introduce Manila to the brand’s range of Korean craft brews and popular comfort-food favourites.
Daily Beer currently collaborates with a wide range of Korean microbreweries to deliver a rotating and diverse craft beer selection, often exclusive to the chain.
The new Arcovia City branch will serve as the brand’s flagship restaurant in the country under the stewardship of master franchisor Opulence Prime Ventures Inc.
Plans are already underway for further branches in other Metro Manila locations including SM Fairview and Paseo Parkview Suites in Quezon City and Makati, respectively, with ten further outlets planned over the next two years.
Founded in 2014, Daily Beer has grown into one of South Korea’s largest chicken-and-beer restaurant chains, boasting over 370 outlets in the country and international expansion into Singapore and Thailand.
The Arcovia City outlet aims to replicate the Singapore model by pairing Korean craft beers with Korean cuisine like tteokbokki, kimchi stew, and double-fried “Angry Birds” chicken, in line with chain’s strategy incorporating local preferences in new markets.
The entry of Daily Beer into international markets taps into the growing crossover appeal of Korean culture with food and beverage, echoing the recent partnership between Blackpink and Asahi.
