The countdown is on! In just two weeks, the global brewing community will converge on Bangkok for Brew Asia 2025, the region’s most anticipated conference and trade fair.

From October 16-17, Hall 101 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre: BITEC will be a hive of activity, connection, and learning, all cantered around the theme of “Optimize, Innovate & Grow.” With a packed schedule and a dynamic trade fair, a little preparation goes a long way. Here’s your guide to making the most of the event.

Education first

With a presentation and a workshop hall running concurrently, it’s impossible to see everything. This is where Brew Asia becomes an incredible platform for advancing your team’s collective expertise. Before you arrive, study the programme and consider a ‘divide and conquer’ approach to cover more ground.

Anchor your schedule around our two legendary keynote speakers, John Palmer and Fal Allen. Their decades of experience has helped shape the craft beer world, and their insights will provide the perfect bookends for two days of intense learning.

A major educational highlight this year is our collaboration with the World Brewing Academy. Brewmaster Michael Eder will present three invaluable sessions covering lager production, the use of rice & adjuncts, and best packaging practices. These technical insights offer world-class knowledge on fundamental brewing processes, essential for any brewery looking to improve quality and efficiency.

By strategically planning your schedule around these keynotes and technical deep dives, your brewery will return with a comprehensive set of new ideas and actionable insights, enhancing your entire brewing and sales operation.

Navigating the Trade Fair with Purpose

The Brew Asia Trade Fair is the largest marketplace of brewing suppliers in the region. To maximize your time, review the exhibitor list beforehand and identify your top suppliers to visit.

A key destination this year should be the returning Innovation Zone, showcasing cutting-edge products for the craft brewing scene. These will include a demonstration of keg line monitoring equipment from Rotech, liquid hop use from Totally Natural Solutions and the latest brewery management software from ABB.

If all the learning leaves you thirsty, why not pop along to one of the many ingredients suppliers booths, there’s always a new product on show flowing from their taps.

Looking to make new connections while at the show? Then why not bring along a bottle or two and join the informal Bottle Share on the Thursday afternoon at the Innovation Zone (4:40pm onwards) – it’s fantastic opportunity to share your work and connect with colleagues from across the region.

Embrace the Community Spirit

Talking of connections, while the scheduled sessions are the foundation of the show, the true magic of Brew Asia happens in the spaces between. The coffee breaks, networking lunches, and much-anticipated evening social events are where the Asian brewing community truly comes alive.

There’ll be a Coffee Hub on-site to perk-up and catch-up with colleagues and a TukTuk serving beer in the Conference Bar area. In a new addition there will be mini restaurants located around the hall for you to order your complimentary conference lunch.

Wednesday evening will see the traditional Welcome Reception in partnership with Fermentis, hosted at Burbrit’s Sukhumvit Taproom. Thursday night’s “Brew’s With A View” at Aesop’s (Asoke BTS, Soi 16) hosted by LevelHeads, Two Palms Taproom & USA Grains & Bio Products Council offers a chance to chill over a few beers from leading local craft breweries with the backdrop of an amazing Bangkok sunset. As for Friday – watch this space for the location of the celebratory Brew Asia/Asia Beer Championship After Party …

Don’t underestimate the power of these informal moments. The connections you make in Bangkok will be an invaluable resource long after the conference has ended, strengthening the entire Asian craft beer network.

With two weeks to go, the excitement is growing. Finalize your plans and get ready for two days of intense learning, discovery and community building. Brew Asia 2025 is an essential investment in the future of your brewery.

See you in Bangkok!
