Korean Air has released its very own craft lager, KAL’s Lager, which became available from July 27 to passengers at Korean Air’s lounges in both Incheon and Gimpo International Airports.

The brew is an American craft lager made in collaboration with Korea’s award winning Playground Brewery. According to Korean Air, the brew embodies ‘a delightful harmony of tropical fruit aromas and a refreshing taste, delivering a smooth and enjoyable drinking experience’.

The lager’s packaging attests to its airline origins, depicting an aircraft with Korean Air livery soaring up into a blue sky. It will be available onboard flights from September 2023 and will also go on sale exclusively at Emart24 convenience stores and on its mobile application.

Korean Air also held a series of promotional offers for the release of KAL’s Lager, including two North America round-trip economy class tickets, three sets of domestic round-trip economy class tickets, and 50 Korean Air teddy bears through a raffle draw and additional SkyPass miles for purchase of the lager at Emart24 outlets.
