Dubai-based Midtown Factory has launched the first fully certified halal-compliant beer brand

Midtown Factory LLC, a pioneering beverages production facility based at Dubai Industrial City, has launched Majlis Premium Arabian Ale, the world’s first fully halal-brewed beverage range, marking a significant milestone for halal innovation in the beverage industry. The range currently includes five brews according to the brand’s website: Craft Arabian Ale Original, Craft Arabian Ale Gluten-Free, Craft Arabian Stout, Craft Arabian Ale Wheat and Arabian League Pale Ale.

Produced using a proprietary brewing method, Majlis ensures the entire fermentation process remains alcohol-free, differentiating it from traditional non-alcoholic brewing methods that typically remove alcohol afterwards.

This novel technique allows Majlis beverages to comply strictly with halal dietary guidelines while preserving the authentic taste and complexity of traditionally brewed drinks.

The Midtown Factory has been introducing Majlis Premium Arabian Ale at number of recent high-profile events in Dubai, including the Taste of Dubai, the Dibba Bay Oyster Festival, and Gulfood 2025.

The new Arabian Ale, inspired by an ancient non-alcoholic beverage traditionally consumed for digestion and energy across the Arabian Peninsula, contains malt, water, yeast, and hops. It notably excludes processed sugars, sourcing sweetness entirely from natural ingredients. Rich in essential vitamins, the drink aims to cater to a growing global consumer preference for healthier beverages.

Midtown Factory was founded by Russian entrepreneur, Igor Sergunin, and has recently received halal certification from UAE authorities after rigorous testing procedures.

Majlis beverages are currently available in their five distinct taste profiles across select Dubai retail stores, hotels, and restaurants.

The company intends to expand regionally and internationally in the coming months, underscoring Dubai’s position as an emerging global hub for halal products and innovative consumer-focused solutions in the food and beverage industry.
