SEA Brew postpones annual brewers conference

After close consultation with our partners and the brewing community around the region, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone SEA Brew 2020 (Taipei) to next year.

The safety of conference delegates, speakers, exhibitors, partners and our staff has always been our highest priority. With global travel restrictions still in place, and the impact the virus continues to have on the region, it has become clear it’s in everyone’s interest we postpone the show.SEA Brew asia brewers conference

Plans are already underway to host SEA Brew 2021 in Taipei, with the annual conference and trade fair to be held on 4 & 5 November at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre, our original venue.

In place of this year’s conference we shall be hosting SEA Brew Virtual Week 2020 between 2-6 November, involving a series of online technical sessions and discussion groups. More information on this will be made available in the coming weeks, but be sure to mark your calendars!SEA Brew conference trade fair technical seminars

And of course, we will continue to bring beer industry news and insights to brewers across the region through our new Asia Brewers Network portal (www.asiabrewersnetwork.com), and we hope to be able to return to our regular programme of Brew Asia Technical Sessions in cities across the region early next year.

The SEA Brew team would like to take this opportunity to wish you all good health and look forward to seeing you online this November, and in-person next year in Taipei.
