With inter-country travel still a pipedream for most of us it’s no surprise that this year’s Southeast Asia Brewers Conference (“SEA Brew”) will be held fully online.

Conference organizers have announced the annual gathering of the region’s brewers will be held between the 16th – 18th November with the theme “Stronger For The Future”.

The conference was originally scheduled along with a trade fair for early November in Taipei, Taiwan, however with borders remaining closed it became clear that a virtual show would be needed.

The four day conference programme will involve Keynote Speakers, technical seminars and interactive sessions focusing on skills development, industry innovations and business rebuilding strategies.

Free to attend

SEA Brew 2021 will be free to attend for brewers, brewery owners & sales teams who will have easy access via a one time login after which they will be able to attend all the sessions on offer.

Conference Director Charles Guerrier expressed his excitement at running SEA Brew online “We are disappointed not to be able to hold an in-person gathering this year, but excited with the developments in technology that will enable us to deliver a unique experience for our attendees”

“The mix of inspirational speakers, expert advice and academic deep-dives we have planned will help breweries strengthen their operations and be ready for the anticipated post-pandemic growth” he continued.

Not just about the technical

Along with it’s formal programme SEA Brew is also well known for it’s social gatherings. The conference has always been a work hard-play hard event and this is not lost on the organizing team. They are ensuring the conference will have ample opportunities for attendees to catch up with friends and peers from around the region with everything from pre-session ‘lounge access’ to evening happy hours.

This year’s SEA Brew will be preceded by the announcement of the winners of the 2021 Asia Beer Championship on the 28th October. A live presentation will be held in Singapore and streamed across the region.

The annual beer and cider awards, organized by the Asia Brewers Network, celebrate excellence in Asian brewing and is open to entry from any brewery operating in the region.
