Eight Singapore craft breweries have teamed up to produce a celebratory rice-based brew “Beyond the Circuit” for this year’s Grand Prix Season Singapore
Eight, independent Singaporean craft breweries have collaborated to produce a limited-edition brew to coincide with Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) 2025. Named ‘Beyond the Circuit’ the unique beer was intended to bring the city’s vibrant homegrown brewing community to poll position during one of Singapore’s most globally visible sporting events.
Because the official race taps at the circuit were already fully committed, the breweries elected to unite “outside the circuit” to produce a flagship beer for the occasion. The eight participants are Brewerkz, which was the anchoring brewer, LeVeL33, Lion Brewery Co, Little Island Brewing Co, RedDot Brewhouse, Ren Min Brewery, SevenDaze Brewery and The 1925 Brewing Co.
Beyond the Circuit is a jasmine-rice tropical lager, engineered for Singapore’s tropical climate. The formula features jasmine rice to impart a light, dry and clean backbone, while tropical hops lend aromas of passionfruit, lime zest and a whisper of pine. The flavour trajectory is citrus-forward with a crisp finish, balancing drinkability and aromatic lift. The beer packs 5% ABV with an IBU of 25.
Unlike an official track pour or single-brand launch, this is a citywide, multi-brewery collaboration and the eight breweries agreed on a single recipe and shared branding theme: “Beyond the Circuit, Above the Ordinary”. Brewerkz led the production, coordination and launch logistics, with each partner brewery also contributing to recipe input, marketing, promotion and satellite events to amplify visibility among Singapore’s craft community and beyond.
The beer’s debut took place on 23 September 2025 at Brewerkz One Fullerton, followed by a themed tap takeover from 26 September at Brewerkz One Fullerton and Riverside Point. At the takeover, each partner brewery showcased one of its signature beers alongside the collaborative lager.
Cans and draught versions are available through October 2025 (while stocks last) across all eight breweries’ taprooms and restaurants, at a guide price of S$6.90+ per can and S$16–17++ per pint, depending on venue, according to Brewerkz press release.
Individual breweries are also activating additional events: guest tap takeovers, curated tastings, brewery parties and immersive experiences. One highlight included LeVeL33 pairing pours with skyline dining overlooking the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Beyond the Circuit was not only intended to serve fans and visitors as a refreshing race-week option, but also signals how Singapore’s craft brewing community can amplify its collective voice. By synchronising their efforts, the breweries have successfully raised the profile of local craft beers during one of the city’s most high-profile moments, demonstrating that independent breweries can step into the spotlight despite not being in the official circuit.
