The Jammu brewer adds two new beers to its Six Fields range to broaden its premium offerings

Indian alcoholic beverages producer, DeVans Modern Breweries, has added two new beers under its ‘Six Fields’ brand to complement its Belgian-style Six Fields Blanche and Six Fields Cult offerings. The introduction of Six Fields Brute and Six Fields Pilsner by the brewer, reflect a strategic expansion to cater to a broader and evolving consumer base by positioning itself more firmly in the strong and lager beer categories, according to industry pundits.

Six Fields Brute is its first strong lager in the range, and is a full-bodied beer with a bold flavour profile and an alcohol by volume (ABV) of up to 8%. It targets consumers seeking a robust beer experience. In contrast, Six Fields Pilsner offers a smooth, light lager with a crisp, clear golden colour and a refreshing taste, featuring an ABV of up to 5%.

The newly launched beers are initially available in regions such as Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Jharkhand.

The new products mark the Six Fields brand’s further expansion into the premium lager domain, by enhancing its offerings beyond its already popular Belgian-style wheat beers, which have both garnered multiple accolades, including medals at the Brussels Beer Challenge and Spiritz Selection Awards.

DeVans, based in Jammu, also produces other well-known Indian beer brands such as Godfather and Kotsberg along with its premium malt spirits. The company boasts a brewing capacity of more than 180,600 kilolitres, with production tie-ups in regions including Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
