Located in the Whitefields District, the 30,000 sq ft venue adds a significant new destination to the area’s growing options for craft beer enthusiasts
Brix & Barrells Craft Brewery has officially launched its sprawling 30,000 sq ft venue in the vibrant Whitefield district of Bengaluru, India. Open to the public since late August 2025, the large two-storey establishment seats up to 500 guests.
At the heart of the complex sits a dedicated 3,500 sq ft microbrewery, producing six distinct signature brews: Hefeweizen, Stout, IPA, Wheat, Lager, and American Pilsner. These offerings, according to the brewer, will cater to both enthusiastic newcomers and seasoned connoisseurs.
The tap room’s interiors exude an organic appeal, with daylight-drenched spaces, water features, and lush greenery blending harmoniously to create an immersive escape from the urban pace. A central bar will foster social interaction across the venue’s expansive layout. A pet-friendly policy, complete with a bespoke menu for canine visitors, underscores the welcoming, broad, community-oriented ethos of the establishment.
The enterprise is the brainchild of founders and managing directors Arvind Murthy, Daksh Vedanth Gowda, and Renuka Limbavali, in concert with partners Beena Arvind and Pragna Saahithya, who have all made the leap from corporate careers to follow their devotion to brewing and hospitality. “Brix & Barrells is our vision of a space where people come together to share conversations, good food, and great beer, says Murthy. “And Whitefield has such a dynamic beer culture.”
In addition to its selection of beers, the venue’s kitchen serves a huge menu of more than 200 dishes spanning Asian, South Indian, Italian, and continental traditions Signature dishes include Achari Mushroom Tikka, Malai Broccoli, fiery Naga Ghost Seekh, and its indulgent Chicken Smash Burger.
The beverage menu also includes inventive beer-inspired cocktails such as Heavenly Suspension (Hefeweizen), refreshing Wit Wall (Wheat), crisp Punch Line (Pilsner), alongside low alcohol offerings such as tropical Mango Madness and tangy Tonic Twist cocktails—ensuring there is something for everyone.
Coupled with its programme of live music and entertainment, Brix & Barrells positions itself not just as a brew house but also as a cultural hub for Bengaluru.
