New faces are popping up at 7 Bridges Brewing Company. The Vietnam brewer, which prides itself on innovation, social/environmental impact and award winning brews, has adopted a new bold, people-centered branding style reflective of the company’s deepest values.

“Our new motto, ‘BUILD BRIDGES BREAK WALLS’ really captures our mission statement, team spirit and approach to brewing” says Saori Ushimi, co-founder.

“Our brand is about breaking through barriers and conventional thinking to build bridges for community spirit, environmental action and new beer styles. We reflected deeply this past year on our brand message and realized that ultimately it comes down to building bridges between people. That’s why we are launching new people-centered labels.” she continues.

Based in Danang in central Vietnam, far from the more established craft brewing centres of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, 7 Bridges Brewing Co. won the Champion Medium Sized Brewery of Asia at the 2019 Asia Beer Championship – picking up 4 gold awards on the way.

The re-branding exercise that has taken the best part of a tumultuous year to complete highlights the faces of four real 7 Bridges customers from completely different walks in life. All are brought together by their love of craft beer.

Uncle An, security guard from the 7 Bridges Danang Taproom, gives a big thumbs up from the company’s flagship Imperial IPA. Youtuber, Binh, snaps a shot on Dragon IPA (formerly, Dragon 3 Coil).

Yen is a startup entrepreneur in Ho Chi Minh City who loves Sunset Tangerine. Heritage gets a radical makeover with a new name, Beach Blonde Ale, graced by Danang surfer Maria.

The rebranding has so far focused on their 4 best selling beers, but more variants will be rolled out in the coming months.

Saori and her business partner Stanley Boots worked closely with local creative agency Brandex for the rebranding exercise.

The new bottles have already hit bars and retail outlets in Danang and will be available in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in the coming weeks.
