FARM TO KETTLE – QUALITY HOPS GROWN AND
PROCESSED IN MICHIGAN

MI Local Hops is dedicated to our goal of servingmi local hops the craft beer industry with high quality hops that are grown and processed in Williamsburg, Michigan. As brewers strive to brew great beer, we strive to grow great hops!

Our farm is home to a 30,000 square foot processing facility which includes two Wolf 1000 hop pickers from Germany and a Wolf drying system that separates us from the rest. Each kiln has (3) layers of drying which allows for thinner bed depths, better mixing of the hops during the drying process and a uniform drying of the product. The
processing facility sits adjacent to our 15,000 square foot pelletizing and cold storage facility.

Our farm team at MI Local Hops grows 13 varieties whichmi local hops are noted for their distinct differences with other regions. For instance, the popular Michigan Chinook which has less piney characteristics than its Pacific Northwest relative, has a distinct pineapple aroma. Another featured variety is the proprietary Michigan Copper, which has a strong hard red candy / stone fruit aroma and is quickly growing in demand.

Bringing our hops to the Asia region is important to MI Local Hops, thus MI Local Hops Asia based in South Korea, aims to do just that. MI Local Hops Asia has established a customer and distribution base in South Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.
