OneCircle increases its presence in Asia with the new Reseller MI Local Hops Korea.
OneCircle, the global leader and producer of PET Kegs, are continuing to roll out the revolutionary KegKeg® and UniKeg® dispensing systems across our growing network of worldwide partners. We are proud to announce that the latest addition to this expanding circular partnership is MI Local Hops Korea; allowing us to selectively increase OneCircle’s footprint in the Asian market.
Today’s announcement plays an essential role in OneCircle’s global growth plans and further consolidates its position as the market leader in sustainable packaging.
MI Local Hops Korea is the official Asian Branch of MI Local Hops farm located in Williamsburg, Michigan, USA. With an established customer and distribution base in South Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
MI Local Hop Farms provide fresh hops directly from their farm to craft breweries all across Asia.
The MI Local Hops team grows 13 varieties, which are noted for their distinct differences with other regions. By selling KeyKeg® and UniKeg® alongside hops, MI Local Hops Korea can help breweries reduce their transport and distribution costs, as breweries look for more cost-effective and sustainable packaging options.
In addition to sustainability and significant cost benefits, the unique laminated inner bag inside the high-tech PET container of KeyKeg® protects the taste and extends the shelf-life of beverages.
KeyKeg® and UniKeg® are ideal for the hospitality sector, which is looking for cleaner, more flexible packaging solutions. KeyKeg® and UniKeg® are recyclable and can be used in a circular way as raw material for new Kegs.
Currently, 45% of a KeyKeg® is made from recycled material thanks to the collection and recycling projects established by OneCircle, which operate alongside existing waste streams. The Kegs provide other significant sustainability benefits, including reduced CO2 emissions and water use, and there’s no need for harsh cleaning chemicals.
