LION BREWERY LAUNCHES SINGLE BATCH SERIES

Singapore’s own craft beer company Lion Brewery Co, has launched its Single Batch Series: a range of one-off specialty beers, created by their award-winning brew master, to give beer lovers in Singapore some new and exciting brews (which they can even enjoy at home, with their very own 3L keg draft dispenser!)

Kicking off with the release of their Sabro XPA in early September, the brewery will be brewing a range of unique beers each month for the next 6 months. Throughout the series, Lion Brewery Co will be using Norwegian Kveik yeast in each brew to create their own spin on modern and heritage styles from a Double IPA to an English Bitter.

Lion Brewery’s award winning Brewmaster, Neo Say Wee explains “It all started with Kveik – that was my foundation from which to work off of, as I was really excited to explore what we could brew using this yeast. From there, I fleshed out the recipes based on the styles we wanted to brew and that we all agreed were in keeping with Lion Brewery Co’s identity and heritage.”

“We are super excited to be launching the start of our Single Batch Series, which is giving us a chance to experiment beyond our flagship beers, be a bit more playful, and bring some really interesting beers to the market.” Says Will Julius, General Manager of Lion Brewery Co.

“Alongside the launch of the Single Batch Series, we have also launched a “Craft on Draft Subscription”, so our customers can enjoy these beers freshly poured straight from 3L kegs. The idea is to revolutionize the way people drink beer at home and bring freshly brewed, draft straight to them. The beers will also be available in 500ml 360º open-top cans.”

The first of the Single Batch beers will be available from the 9th of September, and will be available on-trade and from the Lion Brewery Co website. To sign up to the Craft on Draft Subscription, customers can head the Lion Brewery website and sign up by August 31st to receive the first of six brews (Sabro XPA) and a free Dimple Draft Dispenser.
