Beervana Launches Craft Beer Festival In Vietnam

Fermentis

Beervana, Southeast Asia’s leading craft beer distributor, is holding a craft beer festival in Saigon, Vietnam on May 7th, 2020.

Beervana broke ground in Vietnam four years ago, bringing international craft beers such as Deschutes, Rogue, and Stone alongside the local craft breweries that had paved the way in the Vietnamese market.

With a four day launch that included a beer-filled boat cruise and F&B events throughout Saigon they championed the way forward for distribution as they had done in Thailand and Indonesia for the better part of a decade.

Despite Covid, supply chain challenges, and with international travel suspended, Beervana continued to find new ways to deliver the best craft beer available, cold and as fresh as the brewer intended.

With distribution firmly established in Saigon, Hanoi and beyond it was time to welcome more brands into the fold and in 2021 Beervana began distributing local brands LAC, Mekong, and MixTape Drinks.

“Our goal was always to represent more local craft brands, and as we grew out our network we were fortunate that several of them asked us for distribution.” Chad Mitchell – CEO of Beervana Vietnam said.

“Now more than ever the independent craft beverage companies need to find creative solutions to offset their overheads and find ways to expand their reach. We believe that our strong sales & marketing combined with killer cold chain logistics will help breweries expand without investing their own resources into building a fragmented network of in-house distribution. This allows the breweries to focus on making great products, and we do the rest. We truly are better together!”

Now with borders reopening and a newly focused portfolio of some of the best craft beer brands in Vietnam, Beervana is putting its marketing efforts into the first craft beer festival in Saigon in 2022. The Beervana Carnival Vietnam will feature 8 local breweries, 5 food vendors, and great music and entertainment.

“We really wanted to do something to announce Beervana as the marketplace for local craft.” Offered Chad, “This event is hopefully a way for us to say there are a lot of local brands that are now under one tent and we support them and our customers to have a great time and share great beer!”

With over 20+ beers, including special beers released only at the Carnival, and a variety of food and fun entertainment, the Beervana Carnival will be a great opportunity to try many of the local independent craft beers available in Saigon.
