Oliver Woods meets up with co-founder and head brewer Jim Sung of Jim & Dad’s Brewing Company (Taiwan) for our first ABN Talks of 2021.

The family brewery run by Jim Sung and his father in Taiwan’s scenic east coast Yilan County has firmly established itself as the country’s No. 1 beer tourism destination.

With the recent opening of their own taproom in downtown Taipei announcing bigger ambitions, we take the opportunity to talk with Jim about breaking the news to his father that he wanted to run a brewery, their investment in land and infrastructure to deliver a state of the art facility and the outlook for the craft beer market on the island nation.
