The awards reflect the growing importance of India’s top craft brewers on the international stage

Indian craft beer brand BeeYoung has won top honours at the 2025 European Beer Challenge in London, securing a gold medal for its newly launched BeeYoung Beyond and a silver medal for its flagship beer, BeeYoung.

The competition is considered one of Europe’s most prestigious beer contests and draws entries from top brewers worldwide. BeeYoung’s recognition places the Indian label among leading global craft brewers and reflects India’s rising profile in the international beer industry.

BeeYoung Beyond, India’s first international-style crafted pilsner, took the top spot with a unique recipe that blends smoked Belgian specialty malt with Doon Basmati rice from Uttarakhand. The resulting brew offers a velvety texture and complex flavour profile marked by earthy, spicy, and floral notes.

BeeYoung’s flagship beer was awarded a silver medal for its smooth texture and refreshing citrus character, distinguishing itself in a category often dominated by more uniform commercial offerings.

Founded by Abhinav Jindal under Kimaya Himalayan Beverages, BeeYoung has built a reputation for quality and innovation in brewing. The brand targets a growing segment of consumers looking for more distinctive, flavourful beer options.

Since its launch, BeeYoung has emerged as a key player in India’s evolving craft beer landscape, introducing brews that combine local ingredients with international brewing techniques. The award-winning BeeYoung Beyond reflects the company’s continuing focus on premiumisation and experimentation in an increasingly competitive market, according to an announcement. It also underscores the brand’s ability to cater to sophisticated palates while still maintaining broad appeal.

BeeYoung is currently available in five markets in North India: Delhi, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab. and Chandigarh.
