Hoegaarden release botanic infused wheat beer in Hong Kong

Hoegaarden have released the first variety of their new Botanic series beers in Hong Kong.

The lemongrass and citrus infused Belgian style wheat beer was released recently in supermarkets and convenience stores across the territory.

The new variety infuses natural lemongrass plant extract with the iconic wheat (wit) beer to produce “light refreshing bursts of citrus & lemony undertones”.

At a refreshing 2.5% alcohol by volume (ABV) the beer is being promoted as part of a healthy lifestyle. As part of a promotional campaign Hoegaarden and released a beer yoga video on YouTube featuring popular Hong Kong blogger LokB and ex-Miss International Macau Sulin Ip.

Hoegaarden Botanic is being promoted as part of a healthy lifestyle.

The launch in Hong Kong follows the release of the same Botanic Series beer in South Korea last month. It also follows hot on the heels of the limited release of a Peach Hoegaarden in Thailand which was timed to coincide with Songkran, the Thai New Year, at the start of April.
